CELESTRON Powerseeker 50 Refractor Telescope unboxed by CloudsfullofCharm 1/2
video of me unboxing my first refractor telescope part 1 of 2. this is only an unboxing video, it is not a review video. also, i am not going to do a full review video on this telescope because i am a beginner (noob) at astronomy, therefore, i am not knowledgeable on telescopes. however, i can offer you this advise. that i believe, telescopes are no different than how cameras are in the market. for x amount of money, you’re going to get that much qualities on your lens, features and cameras. thus, for this price range telescope and by the feel of it, i would not recommend this for advance and expert astronomy. however, for beginners, i think this is a good “refractor” telescope because you can always upgrade to a better telescope if one chooses to continue with astronomy or ditch it without spending too much. thanks for watching this video and reading this selection of my advice. specs and info below :

Is it possible to attach a Nikon D40x to a Celestron Cpc 1100 xlt telescope for astrophotography?
You can get telescope-to-camera adapters and a Nikon camera body T-ring from many sources, like
www.optcorp.com
www.telescope.com
www.scopestuff.com
www.astronomics.com
www.astro-engineering.com
Many other sources (Amazon, Adorama, B&H Sales) have these too.
Many magazines and books cover astrophotography.
The Mettler or Milburn wedges, among others, are very fine for supporting your telescope for equatorial tracking. http://sctscopes.net/Photo_Basics/Accessories/Wedges/wedges.html

Which is a better telescope a Celestron NexStar 5SE or a Celestron 130 SLT reflector and why is it better?
The Celestron 5SE or 6SE it is =D
The NexStar 5SE is much better. First, it is a tried and true optical system, on the market for decades and justifiably popular with generations of astronomers. Secondly, the mount is much better, being mostly made of solid metal, where the SLT mount is mostly flimsy plastic. However, if you’re considering a NexStar 5SE, I’d strongly recommend spending a little more and getting the NexStar 6SE. This has a larger aperture, excellent optics, and a larger, more solid mount. I’ve had a 6SE for 4 years and have been very pleased with it.
Is there a cheap travel case for the Celestron cpc 1100 xlt telescope?
The hard case would be great but it’s way too expensive (539$). Is there something like a cloth travel case that would be a lot less expensive for my telescope?
Dude you have a telescope that costs over $2000, dropping a relatively small amount of money on the carrying case to protect your investment seems like a pretty good idea, but that’s just me.
Jupiter Through Celestron 8inch Schmidt Cassegrain Telescope
As the title says! This is my best yet I have Captured! And as I said in my old jupiter video I used a better Camera! With time it will get better! In the future I will get an HD Camcorder! Nevertheless I myself was IMPRESSED at what this C8 can do! In a part of the video When I had a PERFECT Seeing condition You could Start to see more detail in Jupiter I was impressed! And yes it WAS recorded from an 8 inch telescope! Enjoy! I will bring more soon! It was recorded With a Sony DCR-SR45 HandyCam camcorder. All manually Guided by me no camera adapter or anything like that. It was difficult But I focused and kept Steady. Thanks again for watching!

i just bought a newtonian celestron telescope 127mm, what eyepieces shall use to see saturn?
it comes with a 20mm and a 4mm, and a barstow 3x, what oher pieces, filters shall i buy?
Start small and work your way up. You should be able to just drop in each eyepiece and then fine tune the focusing.
As magnification increases, you’ll have more trouble locating your target. Vibration in your scope will also be highly magnified. The image will get less bright, too.
It will become painfully obvious if you use a 3x barlow. Magnification is not always your friend.
Does anyone know if i need a collimator cap for my celestron powerseeker 127eq telescope?
If it’s a reflector, it will eventually need collimation. If you dont have a cap, you can make one by putting a hole in the bottom of a 35mm film canister if you have one lying around.
I’ve just purchased a Celestron powerseeker telescope and what i need to know is what is a collimator cap?
and do i need one?
This video will walk you through it-
