Taking photos of the Stars of the Milky Way or famous Constellations is always a good place to start your photography adventures. For settings, you’ll want to choose “B” for the camera and the lowest F stop number for your lens. This opens the lens all the way and lets it the in the maximum amount of light. For instance, 28 to 50mm lenses would normally have an F stop number of 1.7 to 2.8 for the fastest possible setting. If you want to take photos with your telescope, it’s not necessary to have high-end equipment only a pro can afford. All you need is a little know-how along with the desire to capture what you are seeing. Then you might want to look to a blog or a website that allows amateur photos to be posted so that you can share what you’ve seen with other people.
